Generally, I like heaping praise where praise is due, as an alternative to talking shit. Aaahh, ripping on stuff is so fun!!! But neither practice will apply to the work of Francisco Ramirez, “Magneto” of the Bureau of Print Research and Design.
I normally hold these gems to myself (however wrong that is), just can’t do it this time. Basic concept: screen-printing posters, execution masterful. Went to Pabst Fest for the 3rd straight year this past summer and was pissed I didn’t have any money to spend at the Bureau of Print Research and Design‘s stand. Felt lucky to be able to nab a print of the OKKA Jazz Fest poster from 2010 at Art vs Craft this year.
